Where and how DVDEnvy uses AI, and how we keep it transparent.
Where we use AI
AI may assist with:
- Filling in missing Library metadata.
- Suggesting collection gaps and wishlist additions.
- Helping moderate ShelfTalk and detect spam or scams.
- Comparing submissions against likely-known data.
AI-generated data is labeled
AI-generated fields are clearly marked and never presented as verified. Our data priority is: verified Library data first, then your own collection data, then AI-generated fallback.
AI assists, humans decide
AI helps human moderators but is not the sole enforcement mechanism for serious moderation decisions.
AI can be wrong
AI-generated information may be inaccurate. If you spot incorrect AI-generated data, please report it so a moderator can review and correct it.
